A Stunning Historic Location:
Finding a privately owned estate in Palm Springs for your wedding can be a challenge, but we found a near perfect location in the Historic Cree Estate. The extensive hacienda stretches more than two and a half acres, beautifully landscaped to host your special day. Originally constructed in the 1930s, the plantation combines an artful blend of historical Mexican architecture and contemporary designs that incorporate Spanish red-tile roofing that adds an Old-World enchantment. It’s a subtle, heavenly venue for a memorable celebration.
Beautiful outdoor location
The first thing that greets your guests’ eyes is the magnificent water fountain and a broad driveway that loops around a well-mowed grassy island. The vegetation combines orange and lemon trees and 78 towering palms that not only embellish the landscape but also diffuse sunlight to provide cooling, shaded patches. The estate is an all-adobe abode with facades that feature small nooks that bring out exceptional antiquity. A large iron gate leads to an expansive lawn that is perfect for a special occasion. On one side, a vine-covered pavement provides a picture-perfect aisle. Surrounding the grass are whitewashed adobe walls with multi-hued lantana and rusty wooden doors that exude a tinge of timelessness.

Feeble tree branches provide a canopy, arching over a path that takes guests from the ceremony site to a beautiful poolside with scattered patches of bright-green lawn. The swimming pool is one of the two available in the estate. It has a unique, black floor and a tiled boundary that is as impressive as a professionally embroidered ribbon. As night approaches, guests sip from their wine glasses, chatting while sitting on stone benches amid intricately carved statues. Imagine all that with soothing tunes of a Spanish guitar at the backdrop; it’s simply exquisite.
Great place for amazing pools with our Beverage Catering
Stone steps take you to the reception area that has gently undulating greens where the second [and main] pool is located. This magnificent swimming pool ranks among the largest in the entire Palm Springs region. It has saturated light-cold azure tiles, a rippling waterfall, and a spa. The edges of the pool are curved, and a stroll in this area would make you think you’re in a tropical lagoon, complete with a swim-up bar and birdcages and subtly-lit lamps hanging from tree branches. The twinkling light on the trees, colorful petals and candles floating on the water, and a statue that looks like Michelangelo’s David further embellish an already exotic atmosphere. Beside the pool is a dance pavilion where guests can jiggle and tango under the twilight. If you feel like exercising, a well-lit tennis court is but a stone-throw away. Some brides prefer setting up a tent on AstroTurf so they can wine and dine on the court.

An excellent way to explore all the attractions of the estate is to book the entire hacienda for a whole weekend. The abode has six bedrooms, a fine-dining spot, and three kitchens, allowing you to undertake all the necessary activities, from pre-wedding rehearsals to post-ceremony brunch. The interior décor here is out of this world. It has high-quality Mission-style decorations, a delightfully weathered wood-beam ceiling in the living room, brick walls, and a fireplace set a charming ambiance. Newly wedded couples will relish spending a romantic night in the Bridal Suite that filters in skylight, inviting couples to stare at the stars as sounds of burning embers in the hearth evoke your earthy desires.
