The Holiday Margarita

the holiday margarita

If you weren’t lucky enough to book one of our famous margarita and beverage trucks for your holiday party this year, don’t worry! We’ve got a simple recipe you can whip up to bring the holiday version of our margarita to your own home!

What makes a margarita a margarita? The answer is simple: tequila, triple sec, and lime juice! You can put it on ice (our favorite), blend it frozen, or even drink it straight up.  Add festive variations to that simple recipe and create your personalized holiday Rita!

Our favorite recipe is to add cran-raspberry juice for a deep red color, Grand Marnier (or any orange liquor) for extra zing, and a sprig of rosemary or some pomegranate seeds for garnish. Rub a lime slice along the rim of half of a small tumbler and dip it in a mixture of red sanding sugar and coarse salt. Give it a silly holiday name, and you’ve got your own signature holiday cocktail. We’re partial to the Santarita personally. But you could as easily add “Rita” to the end of your name. Ask me about my Brendarita!

Happy Holidays from us to you!  We can’t wait to party with you in the New Year!
