As I was sitting down to type Part Two of a series on Destination Weddings, Mario reminded me of one of our favorite wedding destinations: Goleta! Load up Spotify with some sweet reggae tunes, hit PCH, and before you know it, you are coasting into one of the sweetest little beachside communities.
Goleta is just a small part of Northern Santa Barbara, which is also full of beautiful wedding venues, but Goleta captures our hearts for so many reasons. Let me list them!
Hidden Oaks Ranch. The great spacious lawn framed with oak trees, palm trees, and dramatic sunsets… did I copy and paste that from their website? Why yes, I did. Because it’s true. We love to pull our Margarita truck up to the lawn and serve fresh strawberry margaritas
Auberge Resort – The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern The Big Barn with its massive stone fireplace, the exposed beams, the vast windows that look out onto the lush lawn, the rustic bar with the overstuffed leather chairs sitting next to a cozy fireplace. Can we get an invite, please?
Restoration Oaks Ranch How cute are those photos? Can you just see yourself and your ten best friends toasting margaritas next to our margarita truck? There’s a reason we upgraded our trucks to handle dirt roads. Have truck filled with margaritas, will travel!
Zaca, Mesa Winery We know people have weddings in vineyards because they love wine but after dinner, wine gets a little heavy sometimes so why not drive a margarita truck in for the reception to kick the party into gear? You know what they say about tequila and dancing. Shot! Shot! Shot! Hit the dance floor!
